Wow, I have not posted in a long time. So, here are some videos I've done somewhat recently.

Ok, that's it, I am finished with all of the SOK audio we recorded this year.  It's all uploaded.

There were five interview episodes we got at GenCon this year. We also recorded all of the Game Design & Publishing Crash Course seminars.

Now, onto video for the three sons.

I've got  a few audio files left to put out before the end of the year for the Sons of Kryos.  I just posted the rest of of our GenCon interviews and I hope to get the rest of the Game Design recordings out by tomorrow.

Over the next few weeks I have some free time, and a lot of stuff to do. Mostly video stuff.
- Edit my brother's wedding video.
- Edit a video I shot of an airsoft event in Canada.
- Edit the remaining Sons of Kryos audio content.
- Finish editing the first SOK video episode.
- Edit a WWII Airsoft video.
- Create a FX demo reel for my website.

This short video (The Echo) has some great acting, and good cinematography. It's a very intense subject.

Judd, Storn, and I got together this morning and started working on the set.

So far we have it set up with three stools, a table, and a green screen background.  It needs to be tweaked a lot, and that may not be what we settle on, but I think it looks good so far.

Now if we could only get the Kryos head to mount on the wall behind us. ;)

Here is a open I created for a show I am working on at our local community college. It's my first time working with green screen so it's literally a little rough around the edges.

Reading: A television production handbook.

Wearing: Cargo pants and my kick ass Army of Darkness T-shirt.

Planning: To play some airsoft this weekend, and go to the wedding of of two of my oldest friends. It's going to be a fun wedding.

Writing: Not writing, but editing some video footage from my pile of projects that needs to be done.

Today I was doing some work on a cottage I take care and I got stung by a bee.  I've been stung by bees many times as a kid.  My Grandfather use to keep honey bees, but today was different.  Today I broke out in hives and had a really bad allergic reaction.  Not quite bad enough to go to the hospital, but not fun.

I really hate how my body has decided to change the rules on me as I get older.  First it was milk, then Eel, now this.

I use to play this game all the time when I was a teen.  Someone made a very funny bunch of videos set quite a few years later.

I just posted the GenCon 08 Small Press Game Design & Publishing Crash Course: Theory and Philosophy with Emily and Ron on our SOK Other Recordings section.

Last night I ran a game of 3:16 for two of my friends Kevin and Davian. We talked about the setting and decided to give it more of a Starship troopers spin. One played a SGT and the other played a CPL. I asked each one of them to make up one contact, a NPC they had a relationship with. Kevin created Lt Col Vixen of Military intelligence, a smart commanding woman that had a thing for his character. Davian made up his characters twin brother, Dorean. Dorean and he were close, with his character being more of a loose cannon and his brother being calm and collected. The two were in separate platoons but on the same ship and they would get together in the church to pray before each mission.

We played two planets, both bug hunts, and during the first planet Davian's character died. We somehow managed to forget to use weaknesses but got him quickly back in the game as his twin brother.

On planet two our two troopers came across some corrupted troopers and during the fight Davian used a Strength Flashback. De described a scene in the past with his twin brother (his previous character), where he talked his brother out of committing suicide. Thus giving his character the strength to win these corrupted troopers over and end the fight.

We had a fantastic game of it and I am really looking forward to being able to run through a quick planet while we are waiting for our normal game group to show up.
