This is a commercial I shot for the War Store in Buffalo NY. I am pleased with how it turned out. The odd thing is that I didn't know I was going to be doing this video until I walked into the store.

Last week we had a power outage and it fried my parents computer. Being the tech savy guy in the family they handed it to me.

I spent the better part of several hours fixing it. My one piece of advice from the experience; don't buy a computer that has a funky shaped power supply unit that you can only order from the manufacturer.

Storn handed me his desktop some six months ago. This weekend I finally had the time to tackle the POS. Yes that's what e-machines are in my opinion. This is not the first one I have had to fix by the way.

Any how, this one took quite a few hours, but eventualy I got it working. My one piece of advice from the experience; don't buy a e-machine.

Krusty, an airsofter from Canada called into the OPSEC Airsoft Radio Podcast and mentioned me (I go by The Lost X on airsoft Forums) and a video I put together for him.  It's on episode 93, somewhere in the first 25 minutes or so.

Yep this is it, my new Airsoft Podcast with the guys from the Western New York Airsoft League. There are even a few gamer references on the show. I was even shocked to learn that the National Guard member who was on the show with us, plays D&D. Shocking I tell you.

Once we have a few shows under our belt (three) I'll start adding the Podcast to iTunes and such.

I just wrapped up a 30+ hour video project I was working on. A video of a country concert at a casino about 45 minutes from where I live. The video itself turned out great except for one thing. The person running the sound at the concert had the volumes set so high it distorted everything. I was able to get two out of the two dozen to sound normal, but the rest just make my ears bleed. When I get some time to fiddle with it I will post a few of them on YouTube.

Even though my neck was still kinda bothering me I decided to go to my hockey game last night. I was worried that I'd led the team down by not showing up, but I was also concerned about my neck. So, I downed some painkillers and headed out the door. It was a great game and actually my neck feels better from it. We beat them 6 - 2, which might have been less if nearly everyone on their team had not gotten a penalty for pulling some stupid stunts. I've been playing in this league for going on two years and last night was the first time I saw the refs give a penalty shot in a game. More amazing still was we got two in the same game.

A few days ago I came down with the flu. Nothing major, just a few days of feeling icky, mostly coughing and being congested. Oddly at one point I coughed and did something nasty to my neck. Not sure if it's a pulled muscle, pinched nerve, or something of that sort but it hurts like hell. Not only does that suck but the pain killers I am on make me kinda out of it and I can't drive while taking them.

I also went to the Cornell vs Harvard mens Ice Hockey game last night with my Nephew. It was a fun game, the Harvard game is always a rowdy fun time. When you enter the rink there are people there checking you for fish. Yes, fish. The tradition is that when the Harvard players starting lineup is announced the fans throw dead fish on the ice. No matter how hard security tries the students manage to sneak a few in and get them on the ice. Even managing to save a few to hit the refs in between the second and third period. Nothing says your a lousy Ref like getting hit with a dead fish. Anyhow, Cornell lost 3-1. It was a good game tho, they both played well.

Freaking hi-larious.

If YouTube had a vote for what their theme song would be this is the one I'd vote for.

Friday night I got together with Judd, Mario, and Storn. We had a rocking game of Houses of the Blooded. I am really looking forward to our next game and finally offing that pesky Count.

Saturday I sat in front of my computer trying to edit some video that should have taken me three or four hours. Instead I was so out of it that it took me most of the day. When I wasn't napping that is.

Sunday morning Judd, Mario, Storn, and I got together again and recorded a awesome episode for the Sons of Kryos. We ate a wonderful brunch, then just took our time recording the episode. It was hot, hot, hot, hot.

Now, onto more editing.

Something I find very funny about this one is that Judd and I recorded it last week.  A few days after we recorded this a bunch of stuff came out on the various rpg forums that talked exactly about what we were talking about (my guyism, or something like that).  Someone out there has ESP I tell you.

I woke out of a sound sleep at five after six in the morning. I was having a wonderful dream, a flying dream. I have not had one of those in a long time. They are always amazing. I wake up thinking to myself that I want to go back to sleep so I can fly again. I couldn't get back to sleep tho. So instead I am sitting here at the computer.

Judd should be coming over in an hour or so and we'll record another episode for the S.O.K. Will he want coffee, or will he be full of energy already when he gets here. We'll see.

Second, I've been crazy busy as of late, but I decided to start a developers blog for Giants. Thanks Fred Hicks. Anyhow, its giantsrpg. I'll try and put some new system stuff up there in the next few days.

I played Ice Hockey yesterday and had a hell of a good time. Even made a really nice goal right between the goalies legs. My game was canceled Thursday night because of some problem with the ice, so I was itching to play. One guy did get a stick to the face and got a nice cut from it. Yes folks, this is why we wear face shields. I like my face, my teeth, and the ability to see. I've seen the 12 gauge face grills get bent from a puck being shot at someone, without out it, it would probably kill you.

I just finished putting together a 50th Wedding Anniversary video that I shot a few weeks ago. The couple were very sweet, and I got some great footage of the two of them and their loved ones throughout the night. I'll put it on a few DVDs and send them off Monday morning.

Thats all folks, for now.

So a few hours ago I finally had a chance to sit in front of the computer and I tried to get a room for GenCon. The closest thing I was shown is a room eight miles away from the convention center.

Thats one hell of a walk every morning and night.
